It's time for Christmas!

I love Christmas, it's a wonderful time to spend with the ones you love.

In the weeks before the holiday, I love to listen to carols and watch old Christmas films like Love Actually, The Holiday and Home alone. It's also a tradition for me to travel to London for visiting friends, do some shopping and enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations. This time a year is also a bit sad remembering the ones that I have loved, that no longer are with me.

It's definitely a time to be grateful, and to take care of the people around you.

Take care out there, and I wish you a merry Christmas! ( and stay tuned, on Boxing Day I am off to China)

"Little Christmas Eve" 23 December

And my favorite day of the year is December 23.Many families have their own traditions this evening, such as decorating the Christmas tree, making a gingerbread house, or eating "risengrynsgrøt"; a hot rice pudding served with sugar, cinnamon and butter. My tradition is to wrap in Christmas presents, and listen to Christmas carols.Every year I celebrate Christmas with my sister, and her family of four kids. We also invite neighbors and friends, Christmas is a time for kindness and gratitude.

"Christmas Eve", 24 December

Christmas Eve is the main event in Norwegian Christmas celebration. The first part of the day is in my family spend with a Christmas brunch. We also attend the local church for Christmas service. At five o clock the bells ring out for Christmas, and most we have Christmas dinner at home. The Christmas presents have been placed under the tree, and are opened after dinner.
